Thank you again for choosing one of our handcrafted wooden throne chairs—fit for the jolliest of Santas! We take great care to ensure your throne arrives safe, sound, and ready to spread Christmas cheer. Here’s everything you need to know about how we ship your special delivery:
1. Shipping Methods:
We partner with trusted freight carriers to handle the delivery of our oversized, heavyweight items like your wooden throne chair. Because of the size and weight, standard parcel services (like USPS or FedEx Ground) aren’t an option, so we use LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight Shipping to get your chair to you safely. This method ensures your throne is handled with care and arrives in pristine condition.
2. Packaging:
Your throne will be carefully wrapped in protective padding and securely placed in a custom cardboard box to prevent any damage during transit. We know how important it is that your chair arrives looking as regal as it did when it left our workshop!
If the package arrives less than perfect. Return it to the carrier immediately and file an insurance claim. See Damaged Shipments Item.6
3. Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated based on your location, the size and weight of the throne, and the delivery method. Here’s a basic breakdown:
• Base Freight Charge: $150 - $250 (varies depending on distance from our warehouse)
• Packaging & Crating Fee: $100 (to cover the handling and protective materials)
These Shipping Costs may not be accurate based on your original product order.
4. Delivery Timeframe:
Once your order is processed, we’ll prepare and ship your throne within 5-7 business days. Delivery typically takes 3-10 business days, depending on your location. We’ll send you tracking information as soon as your throne ships, so you can follow its journey!
5. Special Delivery Instructions:
Since this is a large, heavy item, 4” thick x 24” wide x 48” tall, over 50lbs. We recommend having an extra set of hands to help. If you have specific delivery needs, let us know—we’re happy to accommodate where we can!
6. Damaged Shipments:
In the rare event your throne arrives with any damage, please document it with photos and contact us immediately. We’ll work quickly to make it right!
